




香港電腦商會於一九九八年七月二十四日成立,為非牟利的電腦業界組織。商會最初由十位資深業界人士組成,發展至今,已有五百多名公司會員,分別從事電腦生產、代理、批發、零售、支援服務、軟硬體發展等多個不同範疇,會員公司包括跨國企業、中大型代理商至中小型企業。
香港電腦商會的成立,旨在增加業內溝通交流的機會,凝聚電腦業界的力量,推廣電腦文化,為有關企業帶來更多的商機,使電腦業更見興旺。香港電腦商會更肩負「業界喉舌」的角色,以建立與政府部門及同業間的溝通橋樑為己任,為會員謀取公益。
本會成立至今,曾舉辦的活動多不勝數,如家傳戶曉的「香港電腦節」、成功創下健力士世界紀錄的「千人砌機大匯演」以及於香港會議展覽中心舉辦的「香港電腦通訊節」,達至本會推動本港資訊科技發展之餘,又能推廣資訊科技教育的目標,備受各方的支持及認同。

香港電腦商會成立廿載,一直以推動電腦業界之發展、聯繫業界政府及各界組織為宗旨,務求為會員公司爭取最多之營商渠道及建立更多元化之推廣機會。
商會每年之重頭項目「香港電腦通訊節」,已成為年度香港及華南地區最受歡迎及關注之電腦通訊展覽活動。我們非常欣慰「香港電腦通訊節」一直以來均得到各大小品牌商的鼎力支持,而每年活動均可超額完成。來年我們將會繼續積極嘗試不同的新項目,為業界帶來更多突破,為會員及合作單位們舉辦更精彩的活動,及為公眾帶來更創新的項目。
本人深感榮幸,能夠在商會創立二十周年之際獲選為新一任主席,但同時亦感誠惶誠恐、任重而道遠。本人定當不負眾望,在未來的日子裡,與商會各會董、會員公司、及商會各持份者,共同攜手向前、邁向更新更好的一頁。
